Apparently, one of the main systems on board his ship broke down and has to be repaired before they can leave Hawaii. This could take several days according to him. She's beginning to putter around the house with her walker, breaking in her new knee. All's well with the world. We had a good home-cooked breakfast Sunday morning for the three of us. Exactly 24 hours after surgery, they had her up and walking to the door and back, amazing! She'll probably go home tomorrow. He called from Maine on a one hour refueling stop on Friday night about 10:00 pm and said the flight to Germany would be seven hours, then on to Jordan. I'm sure he's mucho busy now.
