Snow trip

Heard from Aaron last night. He's back at base camp from his snow trip. He's learning to be a "mule-skinner" for travel on rocky terrain like Afghanistan. He had to build snow caves & pitch arctic tents. They've had a lot of windy days (70 mph) that interrupted the satellite internet service. He sounded like he was enjoying himself under the circumstances. He's due back on April 4. He confirmed he'll pick up Lance Corporal on April 1. That means he's on track for Corporal by November before deployment. Sounds GREAT!
