Heard from Aaron just now. He just off loaded from the USS Boxer onto an LCU landing craft and is on the way to San Diego (about a two hour windy and cold ride) after finishing his training exercises. Here are some pix. One week from today and he'll be home! Aaron had his picture in the B'ham News today regarding his recent promotion to Corporal.

My cousin Florence (Aunt Frances & Uncle Hayden Vincent's oldest daughter) passed away yesterday from cancer at UAB.
The US Senate turned down the rescue plan for the auto industry today. Good move in my opinion. Let 'em reorganize and downsize like everyone else is having to do. They're getting their collective asses kicked by the foreign car makers. They created their own problems, don't allow the taxpayers to have to bail them out.
