Family

Aaron's home for Xmas and Jan's surgery went great. She's beginning to putter around the house with her walker, breaking in her new knee. All's well with the world. We had a good home-cooked breakfast Sunday morning for the three of us. I cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, milk, coffee, toast. Doesn't get much better than that.

We gave Aaron an early Xmas present: a new 16gig iPod Touch to take with him on his deployment. He'll load a bunch of games & music on it to give him something to do on the ship in his free time. He's using my HP 17 inch laptop while he's home. I told him he's welcomed to take it with him on his deployment. It's a lot newer & nicer than the older Dell laptop he has. We'll see. We've got a new 21 inch LCD HDTV for the kitchen to replace the old 13 incher.

After unseasonably warm, wet weather (low 70's) for the last few days, it turned off COLD this morning. 20 degrees when I got up this morning, BRRRRR!! It's just now noon and only 29 degrees. "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in San Diego any more!" LOL

God bless us all, everyone. Thank you, Lord, for what you have given us. Be with us and guide us through the coming year. Keep Aaron safe from harm as he does his duty for his country. Forgive our sins, Father. Help us to be your servants and show others what it means to be followers of Christ. Amen.

REMEMBER THE "REASON FOR THE SEASON"
