Serendipity

Aaron (for lack of a better term) is "stuck" in Hawaii. Apparently, one of the main systems on board his ship broke down and has to be repaired before they can leave Hawaii. This could take several days according to him. So, in the meantime, the Marines on board have liberty in and around Pearl Harbor until the problem is fixed. Funny how the ship just "happened" to pick Hawaii to break (LOL). Needless to say, he's ecstatic. He should be having a ball about now!

Today's cleaning day at the house. The two-lady team Jan hired from church come every two weeks and give the house a good going over. They do a fantastic job. The first time they came, they spent almost a full day getting the house in a manageable condition. That house had NEVER been that clean! Now that they have the house in great condition, their visits only take 2-3 hours. We really look forward to their visits.

Jan's coming along nicely with her PT. She's going to the PT office now for her sessions. She's still a little stiff at times but, overall, her knee's flexibility is amazing only a month after surgery.

Lea Ann & Tony are due back from Okinawa tomorrow. I would have thought Mandi & Mike were gonna post some pix and info on their blog while they were there, but noooo!? Nothing new since Dec 16. Oh well, guess they were busy.

Obama's in and has already issued orders that shake things up a bit around DC. Time will tell, wish him the best.
