Aaron's on the way home! They performed the WOG ceremony on board ship yesterday that transformed the new troops from Polliwogs to Shellbacks. It's a Naval tradition for the benefit of troops that cross the equator for the first time. King Neptune appears on board for a day's worth of friendly hazing and hilarious shenanigans for the entire ship's company.

He's says they're making two port calls on the way back but can't tell us where just yet. He's going to Colorado for an Inter-American Hash Run with over 1000 runners when he gets back. Then he'll come home for a few days before reporting back to Camp Pendleton.

I cut the grass early this morning before the heat hit us. It's only been 98 here for the last few days.
