Aaron Vincent was just awarded a Certificate of Commendation (CertCom) for superior performance of duty during the previous 13th MEU deployment :) Quite a few SNCOs and officers have told me that I deserve a Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM) for what I did, but, unfortunately, there's only so many of those to go around for each deployment.
Way to go Aaron!!Aaron was also approved for BAH (off-base quarters available only to a select few superior Corporals in his unit) which means he'll extend for a few months and go on another shipboard deployment (MEU) next year rather than going straight to Afghanistan. YEAAAAAAA!!
We are SO proud of him!
