Jan's off this weekend so we're just relaxing and unwinding. I put the Pig out in the backyard and let her graze on the fresh grass, Jan gave her a pedicure, and I changed her bedding. The riding mower should be ready this week. Got some trimming to do in the newly cleaned out area outside the fence.
The Tide & Tigers had a great weekend, both undefeated. Jan made a delicious apple pie earlier today. I thoroughly enjoyed my half. We went to Texas Roadhouse last night. Jan had a 1/2 slab of ribs and I had a HUGE prime rib, 16 oz, rare. I finished off the ribs this morning and the gang enjoyed the rib bones.
Aaron says the condo he was wanting to rent earlier is still available in Carlsbad. Now it's just a matter of pushing through the paperwork for his BAH. We're planning on going to San Diego in January and will visit Aaron in his new digs, can't wait. He got his damaged iPhone replaced and has been one hashing devil since returning from his deployment. He appears to be very happy with the state of things in his world now.
Jan's talking about a side trip to Yellowstone on the San Diego trip, time permitting. Yellowstone in the winter is gorgeous! Can't wait! She's considering her options for Hattiesburg next year. Changes MAY be on the way. We'll see. She's the love of my life and I would be one lost puppy without her.
