State Farm

We took Tommy to be cremated yesterday, very sad indeed.
I received a response to my online application to State Farm as a claims processor asking for additional info. I complied and I now have an appointment on 4/1/08 at 2:30 to take the pre-employment exam...YEA!
We ordered a self-watering bowl online for the dogs last week. We were sent an aquarium of all things. We called and received authorization to return the aquarium and have the bowl sent instead last Thursday. As of Monday night, FedEx had failed to pickup the aquarium after 2 phone conversations with them. Jan took the aquarium to a local mail center today so we can get our watering bowl, the dogs are THIRSTY !. Actually, they have access to a watering bowl in the den anytime they want it. This one was just for the deck while they are outside.

Thomas RIP

One of our cats, Thomas, passed away this morning. He had stopped eating about a week ago and went down from there. Jan's having him cremated. We decided not to get another one until we've "thinned the herd" a bit. We still have 4 dogs (Dakota, Smokey, Griffin, Molly), 3 cats (Cody, Sandy, Bella), and 2 guinea pigs (Sparky, Montana).
Got some yard work done yesterday, good exercise. Jan took some of the brush to the street and the wind blew it back down into the yard & driveway (grrr). Gotta get the riding mower fixed this week. The blade belt came off last week & one of the rear tires has a slow leak.
