Aaron's leave is over for now. We put him on the plane this afternoon back to Camp Pendleton. He's got a week of combat training next week, then annual weapons re-qualification. He goes to Jordan this summer sometime for a month. He'll be back toward the end of the year for a big leave before he ships out for the mideast for a 6 month tour.
He was laid back all week getting used to being a civilian again. Seems to have enjoyed himself immencely. He got to see the folks and got some good home cooking. We bought him a new pocket sized digital camera for his birthday (23 yrs old), which was today. The dogs were all over him when he arrived. He commented on how his old friends had changed. The world doesn't wait on you, time moves on.
Only eight more months and we'll do it again :-)
