The shot

Aaron spent the long holiday weekend & leave running & drinking with his hash buddies and proceeded to get majorly blistered, LOL. Been there, done that! He also found out he had to get a smallpox shot as prep for going overseas. He got it yesterday. He's gonna be sore from the shot AND the blistering. He'll be living off ibuprofen for a few days if he's smart. His car ovehated and apparently had a bad thermostat, relatively inexpensive repair from what he told me. He keeps saying how much he "hates" his job. To date, I can't recall a job he's had that he actually enjoyed without messing it up. Dude! Get a grip. Life ain't a bowl of cherries. To paraphrase a famous(?) philosopher, "Life's a bitch and then you die, you only get ONE chance at it."

Jan's in DC until Friday attending a seminar and visiting several DC hospitals. Then she's home for a week. Her, me, and Pat all fly to Boston on the 17th for the rest of that week. None of us have ever been there, oughta be a real hoot! Pix to follow.
