Dumb drivers

Among other things at work, I sit and watch the monitor at the front gate all day. I can see the red lights at the Valleydale/Riverchase Pkwy intersection on the monitor. If you know to press "0" on the keypad, I'll pick up and respond to your inquiry and/or let you in the gate. If you DON'T know the code, your basically stuck on a long curved drive and you have two options: 1) back down the drive to the intersection or 2) do a three-point turn on the driveway and go back down headed forward.

Observations: 1) most people CANNOT backup properly, 2) they have no clue what a "three-point" turn is...more like a 5-6 point turn. It's a real hoot watching them back and WEAVE their way back down the drive, hitting the curbs from side to side, or try to turn around. Some are smart enough to press "0" and I'll politely open the gate for them to allow the to make a U-turn. Unless they call, though, I can't talk to them.

Just makes my day sometimes... LOL
