AT&T

AT&T now has it's newest employee as of 3/17 (my birthday) :-D

I'm going thru 4-5 weeks of training now for DSL service and tech support: 2 weeks in the classroom and 2-3 weeks on assisted phone calls. Then they'll turn us loose! To say I'm excited would be a major understatement! I'm on the 11th and 12th floors of the downtown AT&T building at 600 18th St N. These two floors were very recently renovated with new everything, from carpets to computers. Additional training will begin in about 2-3 months. AT&T, the world's largest communications company, is in 22 states and 60 foreign countries with over 300,000 employees. Their constantly moving employees around if your so inclined, typically about every 12-18 months. HUGE chances for advancement. People who have been with the company only 4-6 months are already team leaders.
